Job summary

Emerson is seeking a first-shift supervisor in Sherman, Texas to lead production teams 4AM–2PM, Monday through Thursday. You will champion safety, quality, and lean practices, coaching employees to reach peak performance and building bench strength for future growth.

You will develop people, optimize operations, and ensure customer commitments are met, while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement across the plant.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Three years of functional/operational experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States – Sponsorship will not be provided.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of employees and contingent workers with clear direction and feedback.
• Establish and continuously improve standardized work procedures to drive efficiency and quality.
• Investigate service requests to identify root causes and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Own execution of operational results by ensuring on-time delivery and inventory accuracy.
• Foster engagement and accountability through regular meetings and clear performance targets.
• Mentor team members and create growth opportunities for long-term success.
