Job summary

Tyson Foods in the United States (Missouri – Saint Joseph) is seeking a 2nd shift manufacturing supervisor. You will lead a team, hire, train, and retain staff, and ensure adherence to benefits, policies, and a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities include staffing, safety, and quality assurance, plus coordination with other supervisors. Required: high school diploma, 1+ year supervisory experience, basic computer skills, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 1+ years in manufacturing, supervisory preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, retain, and counsel team members while educating them on benefits and policies.
• Guide team with pre-shift stretches and rotate workstations.
• Review daily production orders to ensure accurate shipments and record keeping.
• Ensure all workstations are staffed and machinery is performing; USDA inspections passed.
• Promote safety through daily activities and monthly meetings.
• Collaborate with other supervisors and provide education on quality.
