Dover Food Retail is seeking a Supervisor Production 2nd Shift in South Chesterfield, VA. You will lead team leads and hourly production staff to meet targets safely and with quality.

In this role, you will develop standard work, drive continuous improvement, maintain schedules, and coordinate with supply chain and quality teams to ensure on-time delivery.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years in a leadership position.
• Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing environment.
• 2 years with 5S, Lean/Six Sigma, or similar CI.
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Able to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Willing to work extended or weekend hours when required.

• Provide leadership to team leads and hourly production staff; ensure safety and accountability.
• Develop, implement, and audit daily standard work.
• Drive continuous improvement; analyze root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain production schedule meeting quality and productivity targets.
• Maintain inventory control for all raw materials.

• Respond to operational issues impacting customer expectations and cycle time.
• Enforce company policies and participate in personnel processes.
• Build morale and adjust staffing; initiate open positions; document skills.
