Job summary

BIC World in Milford, CT is seeking a 2nd shift Production Supervisor to lead two teams and meet daily output targets while upholding quality and safety standards.

You will monitor performance, enforce QMS and SOPs, coach staff, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage payroll records in ADP. This role emphasizes problem-solving and data-driven improvements to reduce scrap and losses.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in manufacturing supervision with exposure to safety and quality systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to prepare and deliver reports.
• Ability to lead and communicate across organizational levels.
• Proven leadership and people management skills.
• Data-driven mindset with KPI, root cause analysis and problem-solving.
• Excellent communication, organization, and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Problem-solving and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise 2nd shift production teams to meet daily production plans, quality targets and safety standards.
• Enforce standardized work, including Quality Management System and SOPs to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor production performance, throughput, and scrap/percent yield; drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain safe and healthy work environment by adhering to organizational standards and federal/state regulations.
• Champion safety by modeling behavior, conducting risk assessments, coaching safe practices and leading investigations.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues promptly.
• Control expenses by gathering budget information, monitoring variances, and implementing corrective actions.
• Maintain payroll records through ADP for responsible departments.
