Job summary

QXO is seeking a Production Lead Second Shift (3pm-1:30am) to oversee daily manufacturing and assembly operations. You will coordinate workflow, participate hands-on, and ensure production goals, quality standards, and safety policies are met.

• Leadership experience in manufacturing settings
• Ability to read blueprints and production drawings
• Proficient reading a tape measure and performing basic calculations
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
• Experience in manufacturing, millwork, woodworking, or related production environments

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily workflow and assign production tasks to team members
• Lead by example through hands-on production and assembly work
• Monitor production schedules and help meet daily goals
• Assist supervisors with prioritizing work and balancing workloads
• Troubleshoot production issues and communicate solutions
• Adapt priorities to meet changing customer and operational needs
• Train and mentor Production Associates on equipment and processes
• Promote safe work practices and ensure PPE compliance
• Provide technical guidance to the production team
• Support continuous improvement to enhance productivity and quality
