Job summary

QXO is seeking a Maintenance Technician II (Second Shift - 5:00pm to 1:45am) to perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot and repair equipment, and support facility operations to ensure reliable production and a safe working environment.

The role requires basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or industrial systems, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse setting. Health care benefits and paid time off are included.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or industrial systems.
• Experience in maintenance, manufacturing, or a related field.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Must own and maintain a basic set of hand tools required to perform routine maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, machinery, and facility systems
• Inspect equipment and identify issues to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and operational problems and implement effective solutions
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and maintain accurate service records
• Interpret manuals, drawings, and technical documents to support maintenance activities
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance equipment performance and efficiency
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Perform additional duties as needed
