Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of manufacturing or production experience.
• Knowledge of GMPs, SSOPs, HACCP, and food safety regulations.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily activities of the assigned production group.
• Ensure production schedules, output targets, and quality standards are met.
• Monitor workflow and adjust assignments to maintain efficiency.
• Perform hands-on production work as needed.
• Identify and report equipment, material, or process issues.
• Provide direction, training, and guidance to production employees.
• Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions or concerns.
• Assist with onboarding and cross-training of team members.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and positive work culture.
• Communicate expectations and feedback clearly to team members.
• Enforce safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
• Conduct routine quality checks and document results.
• Support corrective actions and continuous improvement efforts.
• Report safety incidents, near misses, and quality concerns promptly.
• Communicate production status, issues, and improvements to supervisors
• Maintain accurate production, downtime, and attendance records.
• Participate in shift handoffs and production meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.
