Job summary

Lifeline24 Pharmacy is seeking an experienced Second Shift Pharmacist who can supervise operations, ensure accurate preparation of medications, support staff, and deliver exceptional service to patients and facilities.

This role offers a Monday–Friday 3:00 PM–11:00 PM schedule with no weekends, competitive pay ($60–$70 per hour based on experience), weekly pay, and leadership opportunities in a growing pharmacy.

Qualifications

Active pharmacist license in the applicable state(s).
Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Long-term care, institutional, or closed-door pharmacy experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and staff during second shift.
Verify prescriptions and ensure medications are prepared accurately and efficiently.
Maintain compliance with all applicable federal and state pharmacy regulations.
Provide clinical oversight and pharmacist consultation when needed.
Manage workflow and address operational issues during the shift.
Ensure pharmacy policies, procedures, and quality standards are followed.
Communicate effectively with pharmacy staff, facilities, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Train, mentor, and develop pharmacy team members.
Monitor medication safety, accuracy, and quality.
Assist management with improving pharmacy operations and efficiency.
Serve as the pharmacist-in-charge of the shift and a resource for the pharmacy team.
