Job summary

SpecialtyRx, Inc. in Elizabethtown, KY is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support daily operations in a long-term care pharmacy setting. The role requires a KY license, reliability, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and quality.

You will assist with stocking, packaging, and coordination with supervisors, ensuring compliance with pharmacy standards and patient safety. The position follows a 2:30pm–11pm shift, weekdays with every other weekend.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed with the KY Board of Pharmacy required.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
• Must be at least 17 years of age.
• Must be reliable and able to handle multiple tasks.
• Good organizational skills and detail-oriented.
• Ability to perform light lifting.

Responsibilities

• Able to work under the direction of a supervisor.
• Maintain floor stock, restocking, removal of expired medications.
• Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls.
• Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications.
• Package fill and ship medications.
• Responsible for pharmacy standards, maintained and adherence policies.
• Team player and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy.
• Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.
