Mercyhealth is seeking Patient Registrars to join our fast-paced hospital teams, providing a welcoming first point of contact for patients while ensuring accurate registration, insurance verification, and financial responsibility collection.

No prior healthcare experience is required—successful candidates should be comfortable with technology, typing, and working in a sometimes high-pressure environment. Weekend and holiday rotations are included.

Qualifications

• Graduate of high school or equivalent preferred
• One to two years of customer service experience required
• Knowledge of third-party payors preferred
• Medical terminology preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients, verify information and input into EMR
• Register patients, verify insurance, and collect payments
• Maintain accuracy of patient records and support teams
