Job summary

Nesco Resource, LLC is seeking a dependable packaging machine operator to tend a multi-function line in Ramsey, Indiana. You will start the machine, monitor operation, detect malfunctions, perform minor adjustments, and ensure products are packaged to spec.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (or 1–3 months related experience). The job requires lifting up to 50 lbs and adherence to safety and quality standards; a comprehensive benefits package is available.

• Ability to follow operating procedures and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Tends packaging line and starts machine; monitors operation for malfunctions.
• Stops machine and reports issues to supervisor as needed.
• Performs minor adjustments or repairs like changing dies or setting guides.
• Inspects containers to ensure packaging meets specifications.
• Feeds product to conveyors and loads packaged goods for shipping.
• Replenishes wrapping materials, boxes, labels, and supplies.
• Positions and handles containers for cleaning, labeling, or sealing.
• Cuts stencils and marks lot numbers or destinations.
• Stacks finished packages into shipping cases and onto pallets.
• Assists with basic duties as required.
