Job summary

Allegion is seeking a manufacturing Team Leader to oversee multiple lines, enforce safety and quality standards, and drive continuous improvements. You will lead a shift, coach team members, and coordinate maintenance and changeovers to meet production goals.

Ideal candidates bring Lean manufacturing knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role is based on site in Princeton, NJ.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow Leader Standard Work, Work Instructions, SOPs and OMS.
• Strong problem solving and root-cause analysis skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork across shifts and departments.
• Ability to train and coach team members in Lean practices.
• Proficient reading and interpretation of manufacturing procedures and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and environmental regulations are followed in all shifts.
• Coordinate processes to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost metrics.
• Lead and train team members, including during Team Leader absence.
• Ensure proper training and cross-training of staff; support staffing needs.
• Audit standard work and drive TAKT improvement with root-cause analysis.
• Record hourly production counts and communicate issues to Team Leader.
