Job summary

Komatsu Company-Owned Dealer East in Hatfield, PA is hiring a Second Shift Mechanic Helper to support the Lube Truck and work at customer sites.

You will partner with a Lube Technician, assist troubleshooting of electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems, perform preventive maintenance, and follow safety requirements while building your skills.

The schedule is 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude.
• Willingness and interest in learning a trade.
• Technical School/Technical College or related work experience preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Maintain a sufficient tool inventory to perform assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assists in troubleshooting and repairing electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Assists in performing scheduled preventive maintenance activities on equipment.
• Follows all company, client, state, and federal safety requirements.
• Maintains a set of tools required to perform the work.
• Provides support as needed to move equipment.
• Provides a high level of communication with company mechanic.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
• Documents work performed in the CDK system.
