Job summary

Komatsu America Corp. seeks a Second Shift Mechanic Helper based in Hatfield, PA. You will support a Lube Technician, work outdoors at customer sites, typically 2:00pm–10:30pm, and gain hands-on experience with electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.

You will learn on-the-job while performing preventive maintenance and handling required tools, with safety at the forefront and clear communication with the lead mechanic.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and interest in learning a trade.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Maintain a sufficient tool inventory to perform tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in troubleshooting and repairing electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Assist in performing scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Follow safety requirements and maintain tools.
• Provide support to move equipment and communicate with the lead mechanic.
• Document work performed in the CDK system.
