Job summary

Komatsu America Corp. is hiring for a Class 2 Mechanic/Technician in our shop in the Hatfield Township area. The role supports a mechanic, with a typical shift from 2:00pm to 10:30pm, and requires a CDL, clean driving record, and 5+ years in heavy equipment repair.

The successful candidate will diagnose, repair, and service heavy equipment, engines, and related systems, read and write clear service notes, and mentor junior staff. Local 542 benefits apply; tool allowance provided.

Qualifications

• CDL license required and clean driving record.
• 5+ years of experience in heavy equipment repair.
• Ability to repair, rebuild, or replace engines and major components.
• Strong diagnostic and repair capabilities on heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Support a Mechanic Helper and work 2:00pm–10:30pm shift based on customer needs.
• Diagnose, repair, rebuild, or replace engines and major components.
• Document repair details clearly in service notes and quotes.
• Mentor less tenured mechanics and contribute to branch operations.
