Job summary

Old-Castle-Building-Envelop in Covington, GA is seeking a Material Handler I to move material through the plant, including glass and metal, and to load/unload from tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or crates. You will report to the Production Supervisor.

This role emphasizes safety, attention to detail, reliability, and a strong work ethic. OBE offers a pay-for-performance culture and opportunities for growth within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail in safety, quality and efficiency.
• Ability to read basic measurements and use a tape measure.
• Willingness to perform production tasks and follow supervisor directions.

Responsibilities

• On/off-loading the product from tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates.
• Perform work as assigned by Supervisor.
• Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.
• Read and interpret basic mathematical measurements while effectively using a tape measure.
• Adhere to quality standards provided to customers (internal/external).
