Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking a Material Handler I in Ohio to move materials, load and unload from tables and trucks, and label packages. You will follow work orders, measure items accurately, and support production with a focus on safety and quality.

This role offers growth opportunities within a leading architectural glass and building products company. Starting pay is $26.70 per hour, with potential for raises based on performance.

Qualifications

• Prior work experience in production/manufacturing.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs unassisted.
• Ability to stand and move on a concrete floor for 8-10 hours.
• Attention to detail in safety, quality and efficiency.
• Strong work ethic, reliability and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• On/off-loading of the product from tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates.
• Reads work orders and follows job standards for safety, quality and production.
• Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.
• Read and interpret basic mathematical measurements while effectively using a tape measure.
