Job summary

Old-Castle-Building-Envelop is seeking a Material Handler I to move materials such as glass and metal throughout the plant, supporting production and ensuring timely product flow. The role reports to the Production Supervisor and requires attention to detail, reliability, and a strong work ethic.

Ideal candidates bring prior manufacturing experience, the ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and comfort working 8–10 hours on concrete floors in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in production/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs unassisted.
• Ability to stand and move around on your feet for 8-10 hours per day on a concrete floor.
• Ability to work overtime when required.
• Able to withstand moderate to high noise levels.

Responsibilities

• On/off-loading of the product from tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates.
• Perform work as assigned by Supervisor.
• Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.
• Read and interpret basic mathematical measurements while effectively using a tape measure.
• Adhere to quality standards provided to customers (internal/external).
