Job summary

Specialty Building Products in Maryland is seeking a 2nd Shift Material Handler to join our values-based organization. Starting at $18.00/hr based on experience.

You will manually pick and stage warehouse items, operate a forklift and order picker, and use a handheld scanner to move items to dock doors. You may assist with loading or unloading trucks.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow oral and written communication from supervisor, lead or co-worker.
• Six months to one-year related experience.
• Order picker experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manually pick and stage correct warehouse items at the appropriate loading dock location.
• Use of a forklift and order picker will be required.
• Use of hand-held scanner to locate items and move them to appropriate dock door.
• May be required to assist in unloading or loading trucks when necessary.
