Weatherford seeks a hands-on Production Lead to supervise daily operations and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This second-shift role supports safety, quality, and operational excellence with a start around 4:00 PM and a 9-hour shift.

You will schedule, coach, and develop staff, manage production costs, and report key metrics, while collaborating with stakeholders to sustain accountability and high performance.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in manufacturing with 5+ years in machining operations
• 5 years of supervisory/leadership experience
• Experience with LEAN manufacturing and 5S practices
• Strong communication and training abilities
• Proficiency with office software for reporting and planning
• Ability to manage budgets and control costs
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and respond to emergencies
• Experience with time and attendance systems and ERP software

Responsabilités

• Supervise daily production activities, establish work schedules, monitor team performance
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, quality standards, ISO requirements, and regulatory guidelines
• Plan production schedules, manage workflow bottlenecks, requisition supplies
• Train, coach, and develop employees on safety procedures and quality standards
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives including 5S and LEAN manufacturing
• Monitor and control production costs and departmental budgets
• Conduct performance reviews and assist in recruitment of production staff
• Provide regular reporting on productivity, quality, output, and safety
• Foster effective communication with internal stakeholders and maintain accountability
