Job summary

Great Northern Corporation in Brooklyn Park, MN is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to lead daily operations on the plant floor. You will direct and coordinate production staff, monitor quality, enforce safety, and drive continuous improvement under standard procedures.

The role requires 2–3 years of supervisory experience, strong communication, and the ability to train and develop staff. Onsite schedule, competitive pay, and a comprehensive benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of supervisory experience required.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to train and develop staff.
• Reading English and basic math skills.
• Experience with Excel/Office suite is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day work direction and communicate production specs to direct reports.
• Inspect products and set up/adjust machines to meet specifications.
• Manage workflow, machine capacity, and production schedules.
• Enforce safety policies and OSHA compliance.
• Coach and evaluate staff; participate in hiring and training.
• Maintain time and production records and coordinate with other supervisors.
