Job summary

Randstad USA represents a U.S.-based manufacturing leader seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, disassemble equipment, and repair components using hand and power tools. A 3–5 year production background and strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electro‑mechanical systems are required.

High School education is required; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in a production environment required.
• strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electro‑mechanical systems.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools, precision measuring devices, and electrical testing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics.
• Ability to accurately read micrometers to .0001 (ten‑thousandths) and rulers to 1/8 inch and decimal equivalents.
• Knowledge of PLC control systems and digital electronic equipment.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

• Observe machinery in operation to diagnose issues and root causes.
• Disassemble equipment to access or replace defective parts using tools.
• Inspect parts for wear using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Adjust and align mechanical systems using measuring tools.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and control system issues from schematics.
• Set up and operate machine shop equipment to fabricate or repair parts
