Job summary

Oldcastle Enclosure Solutions (OES), a CRH Company, is seeking a dependable machine operator in California to help produce products meeting customer specifications. You will read specifications, adjust machines, and ensure materials meet requirements for timely production.

The role requires at least 1 year of machine operating experience, ability to operate a forklift, basic math skills, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/equivalent preferred.
• At least 1 year of machine operating experience.
• Ability to review and understand operator instructions.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Ability to use basic math.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team member.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Set stops or guides to specific lengths as indicated by scale, rule or templates.
• Observes machine operation to detect product defects or machine malfunction.
• Reviews product for inconsistencies or abnormal appearances assuring product meets quality requirements.
• Performs routine machine maintenance.
• Assists other operators to set up machines and any other necessary tasks to adhere to deadlines and completion of product.
• Makes sure all housekeeping is maintained in assigned areas.
