Job summary

Ryder is hiring a 2nd shift Warehouse Supervisor in Newnan, GA to supervise daily logistics operations, coach staff, and ensure safety and productivity while aligning with company standards and customer specifications.

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will plan schedules, monitor KPIs, conduct performance reviews, and lead a diverse team in a fast-paced environment. This salaried role offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities with Ryder.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or GED required.
• 1 year+ experience in transportation, warehouse or distribution preferred.
• 0–1 year direct supervisory/leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day logistics operations.
• Plan and review logistics processes with the Logistics Manager.
• Establish work schedules and coordinate team activities for optimal shifts.
• Accountable for site KPIs and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with customers in all aspects of operations.
• Conduct regular progress reviews, coaching and recognition.
• Promote Diversity and Inclusion and improve internal processes.
• Address performance issues and apply corrective action when needed.
• Understand labor relations and maintain positive relations.
• Ensure health, safety, security initiatives and company policies.
• Provide orientation and resources to employees and leads.
