Job summary

JBS USA is seeking a Warehouse Attendant in Ottumwa, IA for 2nd shift to manage inventory and support loading/unloading operations. The role requires operating powered equipment and performing regular cycle counts to ensure accurate stock levels.

The candidate should be able to verify shipments, maintain clean work areas, issue and store parts, and handle reverse receipts while following safety procedures. A High School diploma is required, with Excel/Word and SAP familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; bilingual skills helpful.
• Experience with Excel and Word; SAP system knowledge preferred.
• Willingness to work 50+ hours and maintain good attendance.
• Knowledge of basic safety procedures and ability to operate standard warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• The Warehouse Attendant position will be responsible for inventory management.
• Do cycle counts every month / spot checks of inventory
• Be able to operate a powered industrial truck and small walking jack as needed to unload trailers.
• Verify shipments against packaging slips.
• Keep work areas clean.
• Issue out parts and put away incoming parts
• Other duties as needed.
• Issue / Reverse goods Receipts
