JBS Foods in Ottumwa, IA seeks a 2nd/3rd SHIFT Human Resources Coordinator – Payroll Specialist to handle confidential HR data, payroll tasks, and employee recordkeeping within a dynamic HR team. This non-exempt role requires accuracy, discretion, and collaboration with accounting to ensure timely payroll processing.

The position offers flexible hours (Monday–Saturday with some Sundays) in production/maintenance settings, with a focus on compliance and data integrity in HRIS and payroll systems.

Qualifications

• Previous timekeeping / payroll experience required.
• Ability to work proactively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office; SAP/Kronos experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Track and coordinate compliance to Absentee Control Policy.
• Handle confidential HR information and maintain records.
• Enter and maintain employee data in HRIS.
• Manage payroll-related tasks and generate daily payroll reports.
• Edit payroll records per supervisor requests and resolve discrepancies.
• Perform accounting duties as assigned and support HR/Accounting teams.
