Job summary

Johnsonville is seeking a warehouse associate to handle shipping, receiving, and material handling for production. You will load trucks, stage products, and maintain accurate inventories per GMP and USDA requirements.

Role requires forklift experience, high school diploma, and basic computer skills. Training provided; full-time evening shift with potential weekend work and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must possess good verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must be able to read and interpret documents such as packing slips, bills of material, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Basic computer proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Previous experience with Sage financial software or related ERP manufacturing software is strongly preferred.
• Must have accurate basic math skills.
• Must be able to apply common sense to carry out instructions.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules and regulations per established company policies.
• Conduct a daily walk-through of the production areas, taking a visual inventory to determine supply needs.
• Complete appropriate documentation on the Product Transfer Log for all refrigerated/edible raw material and finished goods.
• Receive inbound blend shipments, entering vat label date, license number, lot number, weights, and temperature into the Blend Receiving Log.
• Receive inbound blend shipments; unload trucks and deliver product to appropriate locations.
• Complete Raw Material Inspections of all inbound shipments.
• Check received items to verify correct product and numbers; enter details on the Receiving Log.
• Confirm exceptions and unusual deliveries; track the order back to the originator.
