Job summary

Universal Pure, LLC is seeking an FSQA technician to support the second shift in Lincoln, NE. You will guide production personnel on food safety practices and help ensure GMP/HACCP compliance across daily operations.

You will train staff on GMPs and risk controls, perform inspections, collect samples, maintain records, and assist auditors. The role emphasizes proactive QA collaboration and continuous improvement in food safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily monitoring of facility and personnel to ensure compliance with the food safety system; perform formal audit on GMPs.
• Ensure training of facility personnel on GMPs, risk preventive controls, hazard analysis, prerequisite programs, and other food safety elements.
• Responsible for pre-operational inspections.
• Collect and analyze product samples as required and document information from analysis.
• Safely keep records of all facility analytical results; report any out-of-spec results to QA supervisor.
• Provide documented reports of analytical results to QA supervisor and track data trends.
• Inspect raw materials, assist in investigating non-conformance and customer complaints; lead self-audits.
• Host visitors including regulatory and customer representatives; act as main host for third-party auditors.
• Ensure product is processed to HACCP/HARPC programs.
• Inform QA management of any food safety concerns and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in creating, reviewing, authenticating, and maintaining food safety documents in collaboration with QA.
• Assist in maintaining document registers and documentation.
