Job summary

Universal Pure is seeking an FSQA technician to guide production personnel on food safety practices and to lead GMP/HACCP compliance. The role requires monitoring, sample analysis, and documentation to ensure product safety.

The position shifts on the second shift, with a 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM schedule, and involves hosting auditors, reporting results, and coordinating corrective actions within the QA team.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily monitoring of facility to ensure compliance with the food safety system; perform GMP audits.
• Train facility personnel on GMPs, risk preventive controls, HACCP and other food safety elements.
• Perform pre-operational inspections.
• Collect and analyze product samples and document results.
• Keep records of analytical results and report any out-of-spec findings.
• Provide reports of results to QA supervisor and track data trends.
• Inspect raw materials and assist in investigations of non-conformance and complaints.
• Host visitors and third-party auditors; assist in regulatory interactions.
• Ensure processing aligns with HACCP/HARPC programs.
• Assist in creating and maintaining food safety documents and SOPs.
