Job summary

Ventura Foods in Waukesha, WI is seeking a Line Operator to support active production on the second shift. This hands-on role requires following batch sheets, maintaining equipment, and ensuring product quality and safety.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and 3–5 years of manufacturing experience, with the ability to work across lines and on the packaging process. Competitive benefits accompany the hourly role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to operate and maintain production equipment; understands batch sheets and labeling systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair production equipment; ensure proper setup and start-up.
• Prepare products per formulas; monitor production needs and prevent deviations.
• Unload inbound railcars/trucks; route materials and sample oils for QA.
• Monitor wastewater process conditions and adjust for efficiency and quality.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and interpret error codes.
• Follow GMP, safety, quality, and FSMA policies; support quality checks.
• Perform packaging inspections for lids, weights, codes, and specifications.
