Job summary

Responsibilities include operating the Local Control Panel, weighing ingredients, documenting batches, and supporting QA with sample testing. Must read English, follow SOPs, and perform duties safely with lifting and PPE as required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and communicate in English to accurately select materials per Batch Sheets.
• Ability to read, interpret and follow safety rules and SOPs.
• Strong reading and math skills to verify ingredient quantities and add ingredients accurately.
• Good understanding of GMP for food safety.
• Experience operating forklift, scales, and Local Control Panel (LCP).

Responsibilities

• Prepare product according to established formulas and keep filing areas stocked with finished product.
• Set up decks for daily schedule and operate equipment to assist in processing formulas; keep equipment clean and sanitized.
• Use Local Control Panel (LCP) to control additions of ingredients and transfer batches to production lines.
• Provide product samples to Quality Control for testing and approval for packing.
• Document adjustments and maintain batch records including lot numbers.
• Clear lines with water at end of run; remove waste and follow housekeeping standards.
• Perform other non-routine duties as assigned
