Job summary

LHH is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead second-shift operations in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The role focuses on daily manufacturing activities, food safety and quality compliance, and driving operational efficiency in California.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of supervisory experience in food manufacturing, strong leadership, and a proven ability to maintain high safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations (HACCP, SQF) and quality systems.
• Experience leading production teams in fast-paced environments.
• Familiarity with OSHA regs and workplace safety practices.
• Experience with inventory control and ERP systems (NetSuite).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee second-shift production activities to ensure efficient workflow.
• Coordinate production schedules and staffing to meet demand.
• Monitor line performance and communicate status across departments.
• Lead and coach production staff to meet daily objectives.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and OSHA regulations.
• Maintain inventory oversight and accurate ERP reporting.
• Identify opportunities for safety, quality, productivity improvements.
