Job summary

Taher, a leading food service provider, seeks an experienced production leader at its Plymouth, MN facility. You will guide production and assembly, drive schedule adherence, and shape new product development while upholding safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates bring food production leadership, problem-solving, and strong communication; you will mentor teams, improve processes, and partner with QA and management to maintain a high-performance operation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years operational experience in food production/manufacturing.
• Experience with USDA and SQF, both preferred.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to multi-task and lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production scheduling and ensure on-time delivery.
• Train and develop production staff.
• Lead production teams and manage line equipment.
• Coordinate inventory and orders to support production.
• Collaborate with QA and other departments to improve safety and quality.
• Monitor safety, health and policies; enforce disciplinary actions when needed.
• Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency.
