Job summary

Taher seeks a veteran manufacturing leader to run Plymouth operations, delivering safe, high-quality foods at scale for national retailers. The VP will drive productivity, labor utilization and financial performance while coaching a large workforce across multiple shifts.

The role requires visible, hands-on leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and a strong focus on continuous improvement, quality and customer commitments in a complex high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Food Science, Business, Supply Chain or related discipline preferred.
• Ten+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience, with substantial experience in food manufacturing.
• Seven+ years leading plant operations, multi-shift leadership.
• Experience leading a large hourly workforce and multiple levels of manufacturing leadership.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, quality and regulatory requirements within USDA/FDA environments.
• Experience with high-volume prepared foods, ready-to-eat products or bakery environments preferred.
• Experience supporting large retail, convenience or grocery customers preferred.
• Proven success improving labor productivity, throughput, yield and operating cost.
• Strong financial and business acumen.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma or TPM preferred.
• Experience leading capital projects or automation preferred.
• Strong executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and direction for Taher’s Plymouth manufacturing operations.
• Translate customer demand, forecasts and business priorities into production strategies.
• Ensure production plans are staffed, scheduled and executed across shifts.
• Establish daily, weekly and monthly operating rhythms for visibility and accountability.
• Monitor performance and intervene quickly on safety, quality, labor, production or service issues.
• Coordinate across Culinary/Prepared Foods, Bakery, Production, Maintenance, Food Safety & Quality and Logistics.
• Identify constraints and lead capacity and throughput improvement initiatives.
• Partner with Corporate functions to drive execution while maintaining accountability.
