Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. in Montgomery, NY is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead diesel technicians, coordinate repairs, and ensure safety and quality of Penske assets.

You will hire, train, and develop a maintenance team to meet customer expectations and drive performance. Preferred candidates have 3–5 years of fleet maintenance management experience; you must be able to mentor staff, manage schedules, and control costs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years fleet maintenance management experience preferred, or at least 3 years of team management with strong metrics.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; associates/tech school degree preferred.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills required.
• Valid Driver's License required; familiarity with DOT/OSHA safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and assign work to meet customers' needs.
• Ensure quality, compliance, and safety of Penske's assets.
• Control repair, inventory, and labor costs.
• Meet and exceed customer satisfaction.
• Coach and mentor technicians and CSRs.
• Monitor associate work levels.
• Facility management; maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Perform other duties as required by supervisor.
