Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead diesel technicians, coordinate preventive and repair work, and drive safety and quality across a team of maintenance staff. You will mentor technicians, manage costs, and ensure customer satisfaction in a fast-paced, field-based setting.

The role emphasizes staffing, training, and performance development with opportunities to advance into leadership. A valid license and strong organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in fleet vehicle maintenance management overseeing technicians.
• At least 3 years of team management in a metric-driven environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; advanced degree preferred.
• DOT, OSHA, and Penske safety policies adherence required.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and assign work to meet customers' needs.
• Ensure quality, compliance, and safety of Penske's assets.
• Control repair, inventory, and labor costs.
• Meet and exceed customer satisfaction.
• Coach and mentor technicians and CSRs.
• Monitor associate work levels.
• Facility management, assuring a clean and safe working environment.
• Other duties and tasks as required by supervisor.
• Ability and desire to work in a positive, fast paced and high energy environment.
• 3-5 years fleet maintenance management experience preferred, or at least 3 years of team management in an environment with strong operational metrics.
