Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. in Temecula, CA is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a diesel technician team, coordinate repairs, and ensure safety and customer satisfaction.

You will hire, train, and develop technicians, monitor performance, and manage maintenance budgets while upholding Penske standards. This role emphasizes leadership and operational excellence, with shift-based scheduling and travel as required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years fleet maintenance management experience preferred, or at least 3 years of team management in an environment with strong operational metrics.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Associates or Tech School degree preferred
• Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office and web based applications preferred
• Must understand and comply with DOT, OSHA, and Penske safety and maintenance policies; including adherence to safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and assign work to meet customers' needs
• Ensure quality, compliance, and safety of Penske's assets
• Control repair, inventory, and labor costs
• Meet and exceed customer satisfaction
• Coach and mentor technicians and CSRs
• Monitor associate work levels
• Facility management, assuring a clean and safe working environment
• Other duties and tasks as required by supervisor
