Job summary

UG2 is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support campus operations, focusing on general maintenance and system reliability. You will inspect, test, and perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and HVAC equipment, while coordinating with building owners and supervisors.

The role requires hands-on maintenance work, on-call coverage for emergencies, and adherence to UG2's safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required with 3–5 years of related experience.
• Wastewater Treatment License or ability to obtain within six months.
• Proficiency in building management systems (BMS).
• Ability to act as Lead Engineer when required.
• Strong communication and reliability are essential.

Responsibilities

• Complete interior and exterior maintenance projects and work orders.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and trend facilities systems via the building management system.
• Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Perform HVAC, plumbing, lighting, carpentry and painting duties as needed.
• Respond to emergencies, provide triage and repair for building infrastructure maintenance.
