Job summary

GE Aerospace Terre Haute is seeking a Fabricator (2nd shift) to operate fabrication machinery, deburr and finish components, and inspect parts to ensure quality per OAP standards. The role supports assembly and requires attention to detail in a high-paced environment.

The Terre Haute site hosts multiple facilities for complex combustors and structures for aircraft engines. A 2nd shift pay differential applies, with bonus opportunities and healthcare benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience with fabrication techniques and machinery preferred.
• Role may involve high-risk or hazardous operations and shifts beyond standard hours.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate fabrication machinery.
• Deburr, planish, grind and polish parts with appropriate tools.
• Inspect parts with precision measuring instruments and ensure conformance to OAP.
• Assemble details on parts using various tools and perform first piece inspections.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and support 6S initiatives.
• Be flexible to support team goals, hours, and overtime.
