GE Aerospace Indianapolis is seeking a manufacturing assembler to support precision fabrication and assembly of parts for jet engines. You will read drawings, use measuring tools, and ensure parts meet quality standards in a climate-controlled environment.

Responsibilities include deburring, grinding, inspection, set-up of tools, and maintaining accurate records, with opportunities for overtime and LEAN initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months to 1 year experience with fabrication techniques and machinery.
• 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with power and hand tools.
• Read, understand and utilize procedures, build plans, and basic calculations.

Responsabilités

• Deburr, planish, grind and polish parts.
• Read complex drawings, manuals and specifications.
• Inspect parts with precision measuring instruments.
• Set up, operate, adjust and troubleshoot tools and equipment.
• Maintain accurate work records.
• Support LEAN initiatives.
