Job summary

Panelmatic Inc. seeks a Fabrication and Assembly Technician for first shift production. You will follow shop drawings to drill, cut, grind, assemble, and install devices on control panels. The role requires reading blueprints, layout, and using metalworking tools to meet project specs.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of metalworking tool experience. Some customer-site work may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience with metalworking tools.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to pass background and physical checks.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and layout drawings.
• Layout device locations on enclosures and prep cutouts.
• Use plasma cutter, jig saw, grinder, drills, and hole saws.
• Install din rails, wire duct, equipment, blocks and nameplates.
• Ensure work meets quality specifications and timeline.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and perform duties as assigned.
• Occasionally work at customer sites as needed.
