Responsibilities include maintenance and repair of heavy-duty vehicles, using state-of-the-art diagnostics, with a Monday–Friday schedule and second shift hours. Comprehensive benefits start after 30 days and include retirement and training programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or technical certification preferred.
• Basic tools required.
• CDL Class A preferred (must obtain CDL within 6 months)
• Experience in mechanical repair of automotive diesel engines.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance.
• Performs standard component inspections and repairs.
• Performs preventive maintenance.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic tools.
• Identifies root cause of failures and performs repairs as required.
• Replaces defective components as instructed.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of the complaint.
• Works with Shop Management System and electronic documentation.
