Job summary

Boulder Connect is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and overhaul heavy-duty diesel trucks, hydraulics, and specialized equipment to keep our fleet safe and productive.

You will use diagnostic software, plan repairs with the M5 planner system, and collaborate with the shop team while following safety regulations. Experience and a willingness to learn new digital tools are valued. This position offers hands-on training and opportunities for skill advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical diploma in diesel mechanics preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a diesel mechanic.
• Proficiency with diagnostic software, computer literacy, and willingness to learn new digital tools.
• Ability to pass safety standards and operate fleet vehicles and heavy equipment safely.
• Strong communication skills, ability to read technical manuals, and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and fine-tune a variety of diesel, CNG, gas, and electric vehicles.
• Plan and schedule repairs using the M5 planner system, procuring necessary parts for efficient completion.
• Adhere to safety regulations to promote a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to review work, coordinate schedules, and train new staff.
• Stay updated on industry technology through hands-on practice and training.
• Maintain organized work areas and personal tools for optimal productivity.
