Job summary

MiTek is seeking an experienced Die Change Technician to support our stamping operations in Tolleson, AZ. The role covers die setup, changeovers, tooling maintenance, and ensuring dies are production-ready to meet schedules.

Qualifications

• Must have an outstanding safety record and follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Experience with die setup and tooling preferred.
• Ability to read work orders and documentation.
• Forklift experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Change various components inside the die and remove/install die sections.
• Work with Tool and Die for tool sharpening and troubleshooting.
• Perform tooling changes according to schedules and complete setup check sheets.
• Develop Die process sheets and provide support for Die Setters as workload allows.
• Train others as needed and coordinate with planners to ensure dies are ready to run.
• Monitor press, tooling and secondary systems for proper operation during manufacturing.
• Attend shifts and work overtime as required to meet production goals.
