Job summary

US Farathane, a leading plastics manufacturer, seeks an experienced 2nd Shift Die Setter to oversee machine set-ups for primary and secondary equipment, including scheduled and unscheduled changes. You will ensure safety, quality, and timely paperwork while maintaining housekeeping standards.

The role requires a GED or high school diploma, Hi-Lo license and crane training, plus availability to work seven days if needed and to report issues promptly to supervisors.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma or equivalent.
• Hi Lo license and crane training required.
• Willing to work seven days a week when required.
• Capable of completing mold change parts within one hour or less.

Responsibilities

• Die Setters handle all die-set activities including clamping, watering, and area cleanliness.
• Set up machine configurations for primary and secondary equipment as scheduled or unscheduled.
• Complete paperwork accurately and timely; follow safety policies and housekeeping standards.
• Report mold-change issues to the Supervisor and maintain inventory of setter supplies.
