Job summary

US Farathane is seeking an experienced Die Setter to join the 3rd shift. The role involves machine set-ups on primary and secondary equipment, with emphasis on maintaining production schedules and safety compliance in our Auburn Hills, MI facility.

You will perform mold changes, set up die functions, and troubleshoot leaks while ensuring accurate paperwork and adherence to OSHA guidelines. This position offers competitive benefits and opportunities for advancement within a leading plastics

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow production schedules and instructions.
• Strong mechanical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform mold changes according to the production schedule, including emergency changes.
• Set up die functions (watering, knockout, hot runner, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc.).
• Repair fluid or air leaks relating to dies.
• Maintain the organization of die storage and die-setting supplies.
• Complete initial shooting of die sets when required.
• Accurately complete and submit all required paperwork.
• Follow OSHA, safety rules, and all USF policies and procedures.
