Job summary

Qualifications

• Four years’ experience as a general machine shop operator with demonstrated acceptable performance on both machine and manual operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual or NC machine tools from blueprints, sketches, verbal/written specs.
• Set up manual machines with prescribed speeds, feeds, tooling sequences.
• Deburr, rough edges, and polish parts; remove scratches and tool marks.
• Sharpen drill tools on grinding wheel as needed; operate welding equipment.
