Job summary

Precision Fuzing and Sensors in Middletown, CT is seeking a Machine Shop Operator I for the 2nd shift. You will perform finishing operations on machined parts to tight tolerances, using deburr, drilling, tapping, sand blasting, tumble deburring, and passivation under limited supervision.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma and familiarity with shop practices, inspection, and safety. Shift is 2:45-11:15 p.m., Monday through Friday, with benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401k, and

• Familiarity with shop practices, inspection and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform finishing operations on machined parts with close tolerances.
• Set up tools and machinery for deburr and secondary operations.
• Operate drill presses for drilling, tapping and counter-bore operations.
• Inspect pieces per operator acceptance program (OAP).
• Maintain cleanliness and 5S/Lean practices in daily work.
