Job summary

Regal Rexnord Cleveland, home of our Nook Brand, is currently hiring a CNC Turning / Milling Operator for our second shift. Starting pay range of $28.00 to $32.00/hour (shift differential included). This role is fully onsite at our Regal Rexnord office.

You will set up and operate CNC lathe and milling machines, inspect parts to print, read drawings, select tools, and maintain a clean, safe workspace while adhering to ISO 9001 guidelines. One year certificate preferred with 1–3 years’ experience.

Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
• Minimum 1-3 years' experience.
• Ability to read verbal and written directions.
• Mechanically inclined with strong math skills.
• Ability to read basic measuring devices (micrometers, calipers).
• Working knowledge of surface footage and feed rates; experience calculating feeds and speeds.
• Must successfully complete a blueprint reading course.

Responsibilities

• Set up to operate CNC Lathe and Milling machinery upholding and adhering to production standards and ISO 9001 regulations and guidelines.
• Inspect product to print, looking for flaws and defects; deburring if necessary.
• Interpret drawings, specifications, process sheets, program readouts and shop orders to plan and check work.
• Obtain proper set of tools from tool crib, select holders, mount, secure, and check tools for accuracy.
• Interpret drawings, route sheets, diagrams, specifications, and instructions to determine proper operation sequences.
• Make necessary calculations for tool depth and tool compensation adjustments.
• Move completed material to the next workstation.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment.
