All American Racers, Inc. is seeking a skilled CNC Operator/Machinist for our California facility. This 2nd shift position requires setting up and running 2-, 3-, and 5-axis CNC machines, interpreting engineering drawings, and ensuring parts meet strict client standards and specifications.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and teamwork. Proficiency with NX/Mastercam is a plus, and aerospace experience is preferred. Strong communication and documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; engineering certs are a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of related aerospace experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage CNC machines for drilling, grinding, milling.
• Set up, run, and inspect first article production parts.
• Perform setups on 2-, 3-, and 5-axis CNC machines.
• Translate engineering drawings into production dimensions.
• Ensure CNC operation follows company guidelines.
• Monitor machines and adjust for improvements.
• Daily equipment checks for functionality.
• Record machine actions in logs.
• Communicate logistics issues during part manufacture.
• Ensure machining results meet client expectations.
• Conduct CNC machine assessments.
• Assist CNC programmers with timely edits.
